Tecmo was founded in 1983 as a company providing services and solutions to local industries in the field of industrial electronics. Since then Tecmo has established itself as a specialized equipment developer and supplier to the industry. Tecmo provides complete solutions in the form of process investigation, solution design services, product manufacturing and life-cycle maintenance, upgrades and decommissioning.

We have been designing, developing and engineering our own products for the last 40 years. Our manufacturing capabilities are endless. Our team is focused to adhere to the Q&A of our in-house manufacturing as we trust in our products’ quality. So much so, that our FAMS range is trademarked.

As Tecmo, we’re the sole importer of the M-System interface solutions product range in Africa. The product has a wide variety of solutions for the instrumentation and control market. The product range has been used for various years in South Africa by major industry partners and also for system integration with various technology houses.

Tecmo also provides fixed or casual engineering support on various industrial/mining, agricultural and/or commercial systems. These support services include SCADA development and maintenance; specific control system development and maintenance; software development and integration; etc.
